The traditional food of different people of India can be considered as an example of diversity in culture of our India . In different STATES of India different people has there own cooking style and different food .About Cultural Diversity In India The most important characteristic of Indian culture is unity in diversity . Our culture is diverse as our geography too . But all Indians are united . More examples of such diversity are: Clothing of Indian people . Different people . In different states there are different traditional DRESSES . In North - East , some famous traditional dress of Women are : Mekhela Sador , Dokhona . While women of North and South wear Saree . Another example is seen in housing style . In North East , the ROOF of HOUSES are sloppy because of heavy rainfall and snow fall . But in North they are plane . |
