Describe five forms of condestion |
Answer» Dew: When the moisture is deposited in the form of water droplets on cooler surfaces of solid objects such as stones, grass blades and plant leaves, it is known as dew. The ideal conditions for its formation are clear sky and calm air, high relative humidity and cold and long nights. It is also necessary that the dew point is above freezing point.Frost: When the dew point is below freezing point the water vapour will accumulate on the earth’s surface in the form of small white ice particles. The formation of the ice particles over a large area is called frost. The frost is formed when the temperature of the air falls rapidly so that the water vapour present in the air is directly turned into solid particles without turning into liquid state.\xa0 | |
