Answer» ong>Answer: Frankfurt PARLIAMENT was the first FREELY elected parliament for all of Germany, which was elected on 1 May 1848. A LARGE number of political associations came together in Frankfurt to cast their vote for an all-German National Assembly. On 18 May 1848, 831 elected representatives marched to take their places in the Frankfurt parliament summon in the Church of St Paul. It was an all-German National assembly which comprised of Middle-Class PROFESSIONALS, businessmen and prosperous Artisans belonging to different German regions.
