Megasthenes’ famous book ‘Indica’ gives a vivid knowledge about the administration of Chandragupta Maurya. Heiun – Tsang’s book “Tsuyuki describes the contemporary history of India. ITsing travelled India from 672 and 688 and from the description of his travels, we know a lot about the Nalanda University and Vikramshila university of India. Among the Tibetans’ description of India, ‘Kangyur’ and ‘Tengyur’ are regarded as the most useful books. |
