Answer» Jacobin\'s government followed the policy of severe control and punishment. (ii)All those he saw as being ‘enemies’ of the republic nobles and clergy, members of other political parties, even members of his own party who did not agree with his methods–were arrested, imprisoned and guillotined. This led to chaos and resentment among the people.They overthrew Robespierre and had him executed. The Jacobin Club was banned and many of its leaders were executed or jailed. The leader of the Jacobin club (Maximilian Robespierre) was very strict and wanted to maintain equality. To fulfill this ambition, he introduced many reforms which bounded the people. Those who disobeyedhim very brutally executed. This caused a general disliking in people for him and led to the fall of Jacobin club |
