Answer» Sajjangarh hill lies to the north of Udaipur, then the Capital of Mewar. That time it was covered with a thick forest. It became the home of tigers and leopards where the royalty hunted wild animals. The poor climbed up the steep hill and collected dry twigs and branches or other fuel for their daily needs.There was thick vegetation around the hill – so thick that the paths into the forest could not be seen. सज्जनगढ़ पहाड़ी उदयपुर के उत्तर में है जो उस समय (उदयपुर) मेवाड़ की राजधानी था। तव उस समय यह पहाड़ी घने जंगल से ढकी रहती थी। यह शेरों और तेंदुओं का घर हो गया था। जहां राजा महाराजा इन जंगली जानवरों का शिकार करते थे। गरीब लोग इस सीधी पहाड़ी पर चढ़ जाते थे और सूखी टहनियां तथा शाखाओं को दैनिक ईंधन के रूप में इकट्ठा करते थे। पहाड़ी के चारों ओर घनी वनस्पति होती थी-इतनी घनी कि जंगल के रास्ते भी नहीं देखे जा सकते थे। |
