Answer» Answer: As for 'translating a sentence', it can mean two things- 1)translating the LANGUAGE of the sentence 2)CONVERTING a hard sentence with difficult words into an easier version of a sentence lliiikke translating- it dawned upon her that the level of absurdity was gargantuous. translated- she realised that it was very weird. There ya go! a simple MEANING of trAnsLatiNg! As for understaning, it does not exaaaactly differ very much from 'translating a sentence'. You just ANALYSE and try to squeeze some meaning out of the sentence, try to get to know what a sentence is about. translating is simplifying a sentence, or changing da language.
