1.

Difference between antibiotics and antibodies

Answer»

Antibiotics are substances that are used to kill bacteria. Antibiotics do not discriminate between good and bad bacteria. It can take up to two years for good bacteria to recover after a round of antibiotics. Antibiotics are ineffective against viruses. Antibodies are made by the body to attack objects that are foreign to the body and are specially tailored for particular pathogens. Antibodies can attack bacteria, viruses, and EVEN allergens. Antibodies can be promoted by taking VACCINES. If you need more SPECIFIC information, PLEASE look in any good MICROBIOLOGY textbook.
