Difference between cell wall and plasma membrane |

Answer» The first difference is that the cell wall is only present in the animal cell but the plasma membrane is present in both plants and animals and the second difference is that the plasma membrane is a living part of the cell where as the cell wall is composed mainly of cellulose and is non living and the third difference is that the plasma membrane is selectively permeable but the cell wall is totally permeable Cell wall is present in only plant cell not in animal cell but plasma membrane is present in both animal cell and plant cell. |
