Difference between conservative and non conservative force |

Answer» Conservative force -Those forces whose work done is not dependent on the nature of path taken it only depends on initial and final positions .eg- Gravitational force, elastic force, magnetic force.Non conservative force-Those forces whose work done is dependent on initial and final positions as well as on the nature of path taken.Eg- frictional force ,viscous force • Conservative force - Gravitational force• Non-Conservative force - Friction force ?Conservative force :- A force is aid to be conservative if workdone by or against the force in moving a body depends only on initial and final point and not on the nature of path .Eg, gravitational force ?Non conservative force :- A force is said to be non conservative if workdone by or against the force in moving a body depends on path between initial and final point .
