Difference between endocytosis and exocytosis |
| Answer» ENDOCYTOSIS : Endocytosis is a ingestion of materiall by the cell through the plasma membrane. It is a collective term that that describes three similar processes - phagocytosis ( cell eating ), potocytosis ( cell drinking ), recepter- mediated Endocytosis. ENDOCYTOSIS : just as material can be bought into the cell by invagination and formation of a vesicle , the membrane of a vesicle can fuse with the plasma membrane and extrude it\'s contents to the surrounding medium. This process is call education Exocytosis. | |
