Answer» PLC can be PROGRAMMED whereas a relay cannot. PLC WORKS for ANALOG I/Os such as PID loops etc. whereas a relay cannot PLC is MUCH more advanced as compared to relay. Modifications in relay base circuit is difficult compared to PLCs
