  • PVC (polyvinylchloride) is a SOFT, polymeric material that is found in abundance. It is used in ceramic, wood, leather, paper, metal, and glass.

  •  Bakelite being thermosetting plastic can be used for insulating MATERIALS
  • PVC is a thermoplastic which cannot be used for insulation.
