Difference between rest and motion |

Answer» The objects which do not change their positions with time are said to be at rest. The objects which change their positions with time are said to be in motion. Rest An object is said to be in rest when it does not change it\'s position. MotionAn object is said to be in motion when it changes it\'s position Rest :- Position or orientation of the object remains same and there is no change of position and change of orientation with respect to time.Motion:- motion of the object is due to change of position or change of orientation with respect to time. |
