s and Savannas are regarded as grasslands.By grassland it means that it is a region that is dominated by PLANT and grass vegetation rather than forests. The PRIMARY distinction between a prairie and a savanna is the climate. Savannas, or tropical grasslands has WARM or hot climates whereas Prairies, or temperate grasslands vary from summer to winter. Prairies requires less rainfall than Savannas. A Savanna grassland must receive concentrated rainfall for six to eight months of the year. As a result this region have both  dry and  rainy season with  stable temperatures throughout the year . Prairies have hot summers and cold winters. Rainfall is steady throughout the year , with the majority falling in the early summer and LATE FALL.
