Different between turgrt cell and plagid cell

Answer» A cell become turgid when osmotic flow of water occour from an area of low solute or high water concentration to an area of high solute or low water concentration. Then a turger pressure is build up against the cell wall, which pushes the plasma membrane against cell wall.A cell is said to be flaccid when the plant cell is placed in an isotonic solution where the concentration of solutes is same both outside & inside. The plasma membrane is not tighty in touch with cell wall as in turgid cell.
