Answer»

Atomic and Molecular Masses:

Atomic Mass: Mass of an atom compared with one-twelfth mass of 1 atom of C12 isotope taken as 12u.

Molecular Mass: Mass of a molecule of covalent compound compared with one-twelfth mass of 1 atom of C12 isotope taken as 12 u.

It is equal to the sum of atomic masses of all the elements present in the molecule.

Formula Unit Mass
