Answer» Solution :(i) Movement ALONG a demand CURVE is either upwards or DOWNWARDS whereas shift in demand curve is either rightwards or LEFTWARDS. (ii) Movement along a demand curve is caused due to a CHANGE in own price of the commodity whereas shift in demand curve is caused due to a change in other factors affecting the demand of the commodity other than the price. |
