The cells which do not have a well organised nucleus due to the absence of the nuclear membrane are called prokaryotic cells. The ORGANISM with this kind of cells are called prokaryotes. for example bacteria, blue green algae.
The cells which have a well organised nucleus with nuclear membrane are called eukaryotic cells. All Organism other than bacteria and blue green algae have eukaryotic cells. Hence they eurkaryotes. for example plants, animals, fungi, protozoa, ETC are eurkaryotes. |
