Differentiate between solid liquid and gas on the basis of intermolecular spaces |
|
Answer» Answer: In SOLIDS, the MOLECULES are tightly packed to each other, so their intermolecular space is very less. In liquids, the molecules are loosely packed to each other, so their intermoleculer space is more than in solids. And in GASES, the molecules are FREE to MOVE anywhere, so their intermolecular space is very large. |
