Diffrence between acceleration and velocity |
|
Answer» Velocity-speed of the object in a given direction is called velocityAcceleration-the rate of change of velocity in per unit time is called acceleration Velocity is the speed of an object in a given direction WHILE acceleration of an object is the change in velocity per unit time. Acceleration means the change in velocity it means that body velocity will increase or decrease is called acceleration. Where as velocity means distance covered with respect to time in definite direction. Example-a car moving towards east Speed in a direction is called velocity . While The rate of change in velocity is called acceleration. |
