Answer» Correct Answer - Option 3 : Both the statements I and II together are needed to answer the question.

Concept used:

Using the elementary mathematics.

Statement (I):

A man earn Rs. 1500 for his first 30 hours in a week.

In 1 hour he earn = 1500/30 = Rs. 50

∴ The statement (I) alone is not sufficient to answer the question.

Statement (II):

If After 30 hours he gets seven-fifths times his regular hourly rate for any additional hours then the total hours to make Rs. 2200.

Total money he earned = Rs. 2200

Earn money for extra hour = (7/5) × 50 = Rs. 70

∴ The statement (I) alone is not sufficient to answer the question.

∴ Both the statements I and II together are needed to answer the question.
