Answer» Hello dear friend, Nice question u r asking about , and this gender -based discrimination has been ever since the british ERA, moreover before that, and still visible in many form in the COUNTRY--- India. Well, in the indian history also women were suffering from: INEQUALITY in soceity no rights for EDUCATION no rights to get married by their own choice not allowed to do proffesional jobs like men(paid jobs) not allowed to go out of house without permission they were unable to take their own decisions if denied by male-authority they had to suffer through sati pratha they had to suffer to parda-pratha So these were some such discriminations , and the issues of education, & GETTING employed or going out of house , are still existing
Hope this helps !! thankyou & goodluck!! :)
