Answer» According to MALINOWSKI's concept, Culture exists to meet the BASIC biological, psychological and social needs of the individual. This is the function of culture and the link between the society and individual. Culture is utilitarian, adaptive and functionally integrated and every culture must satisfy the biological system of the needs, Every culture that achievement that implies the use of artifacts and symbolism is an instrumental enhancement of HUMAN anatomy and refers directly to the satisfaction of a bodily NEED. For example we have a biological need for safety to which the cultural response may include many different behaviors like MAGICS and armies.
