Raja Ram Mohan Roy born in orthodox FAMILY of Bengal but despite of it is KNOWLEDGE of many Indian and European languages made him well versed in his both orential and WESTERN learning which made him deep thinker. he also became a great religious and social reformer he founded the brahmo samaj in 1828 which in order to purify uniform Hinduism which led and nationalism thought in the people he start a rational in scientific approach instead of blind relief in the teaching of the priest he published Bengali translations of a 10 banned sati SYSTEM in 1829 he open the new college VEDANTA college in 1825 and he considered as a Pioneer among social reformers of India.
