(ii) The main profession of Harappan people was agriculture. They cultivated the land properly to grow various crops-wheat, barley, rice and cotton. Wooden ploughs were used in fields. Irrigation system was good to irrigate their fields. (iii) Cattle rearing was another profession of Harappan people. They reared cow, ox, goats, sheep and dogs. (iv) Harappan people were very good traders. Trade way the main profession.
