In this poem the poet A.P.J. Abdul Kalam delivers an important message to youth to see a grand vision to make India an advanced country. He says that to see such grand vision is the beginning of the system of making India the most developed country of the world. The poet realises that in order to make India wealthy and prosperous every citizen will have to see a grand dream. He further says that technology and knowledge are the most effective arms to fight this battle. The poet clears that the sense of love and dedication are the firm foundation for this great campaign. The lamp of knowledge will have to burn and the man will have to recognise his hidden talent and use his the best effort to make India the most developed nation of the world. It is the vision of the poet for his country.

इस कविता में कवि एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम युवाओं को एक महत्त्वपूर्ण सन्देश देते हैं कि उन्हें भारत को एक विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने का एक महान सपना देखना है। वह कहते हैं कि ऐसी महान कल्पना करना ही भारत का सर्वोत्तम विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने की एक प्रक्रिया है। कवि महसूस करता है कि भारत को समृद्ध व खुशहाल बनाने के लिए प्रत्येक नागरिक को एक महान सपना देखना पड़ेगा। कवि कहता है कि तकनीकी और ज्ञान इस लड़ाई को लड़ने के लिए दो प्रमुख हथियार हैं। कवि स्पष्ट करता है कि प्रेम तथा समर्पण दोनों मजबूत आधार। हैं इस महान आन्दोलन के लिए। आदमी को अपने ज्ञान का दीपक जलाना पड़ेगा तथा भारत को इस संसार में सर्वाधिक विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने के लिए अपने अन्दर की छुपी हुई प्रतिभा को पहचानना पड़ेगा। कवि ने अपने देश के लिए यह महान कल्पना की है।
