Answer» Double blind is where both the subject and the RESEARCHER do not KNOW which of the treatment the subject is RECEIVING i.e. whether control or the study treatment. In Double dummy, every subject is given both the control and the investigational treatment, for alternating PERIODS. Double blind is where both the subject and the researcher do not know which of the treatment the subject is receiving i.e. whether control or the study treatment.
