1.	Distinguish between the terms ‘overloading’ and ‘short-circuiting ‘ as used in domestic circuits.
Answer» Live wire coming in contact with the neutral wire is known as short circuit. When too many electrical appliances of high power rating are switched on at the same time or are connected to a single socket, they draw extremely large current. This is known as overloading.
