Answer» Alibhai must be visiting Ram Singh’s place frequently, at least once a year to sell dried apricots, herbs, medicines and precious stones. So everybody in Ram Singh’s family knew him closely. As soon as the little girl Neelam saw him, she ran shouting into the house, “Alibhai has come!” All the members of Ram Singh’s family ran out to see and greet him. With a broad smile, full of warmth, Ram Singh hugged him and invited him in calling him friend. In return Alibhai patted everyone and spoke lovingly to each member of the family. Mother prepared tea for him. Everybody insisted that he must share his travelling experiences with them. All this shows that Alibhai had very good relations with Ram Singh’s family.
