Answer:

1. First aid is an important tool in quickly responding to accidents to ensure that injuries can be efficiently and promptly dealt with before a trained medical professional arrives to administer more specialised treatment.

2. Chemicals are found in hand sanitizers, soaps, bleach, bathroom cleaners, shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, shaving foams, sunscreens, and dishwasher tablets.

3. a) Apply pressure to the wound with a sterile bandage, a clean cloth or a clean piece of clothing. Immobilize the injured area. Don't try to realign the bone or push a bone that's sticking out back in.

b)Minor cuts and scrapes usually stop bleeding on their own. If needed, apply gentle pressure with a clean bandage or cloth and elevate the wound until bleeding stops. Clean the wound. Rinse the wound with water.

c)  First aid for poisoning

Swallowed

If the person is alert: Do not induce VOMITING. Immediately rinse the mouth.

Keep the product or medicine container handy.

On the skin

Carefully remove CONTAMINATE clothing and wash exposed areas with copious amounts of room temperature water.

4. If clothes catch fire they can spread very quickly, engulfing the victim in flames. Certain types of clothing, especially synthetic fabrics, MAY melt and stick to skin. Roll over and over and back and forth until the flames are out. The one thing you should never do is run.

5. Fire hazards are not ALWAYS obvious in and around the home, so accidents involving fire are often unexpected and sudden. These accidents can occur from faulty wiring, defective products, discarded cigarettes left on flammable materials, and smoke detectors that fail to activate.

6. A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergency situations

7. Children should not play with things that are dangerous.
