Porifera-The word porifera means organisms with holes. 1.These are non-motile animals. 2.They are attached to some SOLID body for support. 3.They have holes or PORES all over the body which acts as canal system ,that helps in circulating water through out the body to bring in food and oxygen. 4.They are commonly called as Sponges. 5.They are MAINLY found in marine habitats. Some examples are Euplectelea,Sycon,Spongilla,ETC.
