  • The merchant students in the university TOWNS bought the cheaper printed copies.

  • As the demand for the books increased the book SELLERS all over the Europe began exporting books too many different countries.

  • Book Fairs were held at different places.

  • Slowly and gradually woodblock printing became more and more popular.

  • By the early 15th century woodblocks were being widely USED in Europe to print different things.

  • The first knowing printing press was developed by Johann Gutenberg in Germany in 1430s.
