Answer» Most of the non-ferrous minerals that are available in a country like India, are primarily used for a number of metallurgical processing ACTIVITIES in INDUSTRIES. They are often malleable, ductile and good conductors of electricity. Three important points are: 1. The non ferrous minerals are those that do not contain any iron content i.e ferrous content in it. 2. The OVERALL content of non ferrous minerals is MUCH less as COMPARED to the ferrous minerals in India. 3. Some of the examples are copper, lead, zinc, gold and bauxite. |
