1.

Explain any three essential elements of an ideal classification.

Answer»

Following are the three essential elements of an ideal classification:

  • Clarity : There should be no uncertainty or ambiguity as to which class or group the compiled data should be kept in.
  • Stability : Stability is necessary to make statistics comparable and to make meaningful comparisons of the results.
  • Extensiveness : The different classes should be composed widely in such a manner that no item of the collected data should be left out.
