Answer» (i) Ammeter is a low resistance galvanometer. When a low resistance shunt is connected across galvanometer, it becomes ammeter. (ii) Voltmeter is a high resistance galvanometer. When a suitable high resistance is connected in series with the galvanometer, it becomes voltmeter. |
