Symptoms: Reduced hunger, vomiting, reduced BMR & body temperature. dehydration & bronzing of the skin. 2. Conn’s disease: It is caused due to excess secretion of mineralocorticoids. Symptoms: Muscle weakness, high BP, malfunctioning of kidneys etc. 3. Cushing’s disease: It is caused due to hypersecretion of corticosteroids. It is caused due to hypersecretion of corticosteroids which is due to excess of ACTH. Symptoms: Virilism, oedema, hyperglycaemia etc. In virilism, opposite secondary sexual characters appear and it is more common in women. The virilism in a female is also called as hirsutism
