Explain male reproductive system? |

Answer» Male reproductive system consist of a pair of testes , two sperm duct , urethra and a penis. ☆ Testes ( singular : testis ) : A Male has two testes . testes are oval in shape , they lie in a small muscular pouch called scrotum which is outside the ABDOMINAL cavity. Function of testes is to produce Male gametes called sperms and ALSO produce the Male sex hormone called testosterone. ☆ Sperm Duct ( Vas deferens ) : The sperm duct starts from the testis and joins the urethra. it carries sperm to the urethra by the muscular ACTION of its walls. here the fluid produced by the seminal VESICLES mixes with the sperms to produce semen , it provide nourishment to the sperms. ☆ Urethra : It's a LONG tube which starts from the urinary bladder to carry urine . the semem from sperm duct also joins the urethra. ☆ penis : It is a long and thick muscular organ that injects the sperm into the female's body. |
