Answer» Answer: The KHONDS of Orissa led a primitive life. They revolted against the BRITISH in 1846 because they feared that the British would annex their land and force them to adopt other occupation. Finally they were suppressed by the Britishers in 1848 and SURRENDERED to the British rule. |
