1. An alternating possesion indicator is given, when a shot bounces off the rim and away from the basket, and players from opposing team grab the ball and fight for its possession. 

2. Double Foul: A double foul is a situation in which two opponents commit personal fouls against each other at same time. 

3. A Violation is an infraction of rules of game, i.e. illegal actions for controlling or dribbling the ball during the game without obstructing opponent. 

4. A three-point shot is made from beyond the three-point line, an arc surrounding the basket. A successful attempt is worth three points made inside the three-point line.
