1.	Explain the glycoside linkage.
Answer» Glycoside linkage- In disaccharides, the two monosaccharides are joined together by a bond called glycoside linkage. A glycoside bond is formed when hydroxyl group of the hemiacetal carbon of one monosaccharide give -O- bond.
