Answer» orial Estate• The nobles had their own manor house. They controlled land and villages while some lords controlled 100S of villages. • Manor was a place where dozen of knight's FAMILIES lived whereas some large monorial contained 50-60 families. • This estate were almost self sufficient because every needs was found their, like GRAINS were grown in fields, blacksmiths and carpenters were used to maintain and repair king's implements. But somewhere, it NEEDED to be dependent on outside sources(like, lords) for salt, milestone and metalic goods. • Womens were used to spun and wove the fabric whereas children worked in wine presses. • From the 13th century, some castles were begin to increase their area to give SHELTER to knight's families too. |
