Under this, every person above 20years must serve in the army for a fixed tenure (forced conscription).2. The Japanese sent delegates to Europe who studied European military tactics, science as well as military. On their return, they recommended such measures for the Japanese Army as well.3. As per the economy, zaibutsus (rich family business) controled the Japanese economy. Best example is Mitsubishi.4. Economy also boomed as Japan invaded Korea and Manchuria and won major trade deals with the British and the French.
