|
Answer» The High Court is the highest court of the State. All other courts and tribunals working in State are subject to the authority of High Court. It occupies the same position in State as Supreme court at central level. The High Court enjoys original and appellate jurisdiction in civil and criminal cases. It operates as a court of record and exercises some administrative powers. In every state in addition to the High Court, there are number of judicial courts to administer justice.
