Answer» India is a central location not countries in Europe and Africa in the west and south east and East Asia India\'s land route are more older than maritime routes from these land routes only ideas of Upanishads and panchtantra were exported to other countries as well as spices cloths like muslin were exported from India whereas the ideas of domes and other has come from other countries through these routes . The ocean is named after India as no other country has large coastline in ocean . Thus central location of India has a great significance India can contact with many countries through its maritime routes |
