Explain the strategy about sources of energy being followed to contain pollution in India . |
| Answer» The strategy is to use non-conventional sources in place of conventional sources of energy. Our major conventional source thermal power is a major source of pollution. The strategy now is to use non-conventional sources like wind power and solar power. Wind power has no adverse impact on environment but cannot be widely used because of limited areas in which speed of wind is high solar power is good alternative because of ample sunlight in India. It is totally free from pollution. | |
