This technique is used to determine the requirement of mineral nutrients of plants. Vermiculite: Vermiculite is a mineral substance found in soil in nature. This is lightweight, chemically inert, heat resistant, the sterile substance having water holding capacity more than soil. This substance is heated in a furnace at 2000°F and the product is used in culturing plants. This technique is called Vermiculoponics.
