Answer» eatures of tea plantation :-1. Tea is grown over large tracts of land and REQUIRES capital intensive inputs and migrant labourers.2. It is a single crop grown over a large area.3. It has industry interface meaning tea LEAVES have to be processed at the plantation to retain freshness and hence capital intensive crop.Three features of coffee plantation :-1. It requires hot and humid CLIMATE with temperature varying between 15 degree and 28 degrees.2. It requires a rainfall of 150 cm-250 cm.It doesn't TOLERATE frost,snowfall,high temperature above 30 degree.3. Prolonged draught is injurious to coffee. |
