Answer» During 18th Napoleon conquered the Europe and CLAIMED himself as king of France . he started the slavery in France in SEVENTEENTH century . in Europe many people want to work this would result in the shortage of LABOUR on the plantations. this was met by the TRIANGULAR slave trade between Europe , Africa and the Americas . the slave trade was BEGAN in the seventeenth century. french merchants sailed from ports of Bordeaux or Nantes to the African cost , where they bought slaves from local chieftains. from there they were branded and shackled and tightly packed into ships for three months long voyage across the Atlantic to Caribbean . this began to continue . in 1794 there was convention to free all slaves . ten years later Napoleon reintroduced slavery after fighting in 1848 it was abolished finally |
