1.

Explain velocity . With example.

Answer» The distance travelled by a moving object or body in associate direction is called velocity. It is a vector quantity as the direction is defined in this. We can take the example of a moving car that travels a distance of 4 km in 10 min towards north and then turn to its right and covers a distance of 4 km in same time as given 10 min .then first we need to find displacement to find its velocity. So,disppacement will be 4√2.and as we know that velocity = dsplacement/total time taken.Hence, velocity will be (4√2/10)m/min towards south to east.
Velocity is defined as the speed of an object moving in definite direction.
Velocity means the speed of an object in a particular direction. For example: a car is moving with speed 20km/hr but the velocity is 20km/hr North
Velocity is displacement upon time and is a vector quantity
